Before the austerity of Lent, we celebrate with a pre-Lenten feast of pancakes and sausage on Shrove (from the Old English—to shrive: to confess) on Tuesday, March 4 from 5pm to 7pm in St. Luke’s Undercroft. The dinner costs $7. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit St. Luke’s Youth Service and Pilgrimage trips.
We will have services on March 5th at 7am, 12pm and 7pm at St. Luke’s, in addition to Ashes to Go offered from 1pm to 3pm offered in front of the church, on North Main Street.
On Thursday, March 6th at 7pm in St. Luke's Undercroft, the New Neighbors Coalition will host a local showing of the WNY Refugee Film Festival’s screening of three shorts, Displaced but Not Defeated, Return Date: Unknown, and Out of Aleppo (three short films by refugee teens).
