A columbarium is an area reserved for the internment of the cremated remains of the deceased in dignified and beautiful surroundings on consecrated ground. It is also a place for mediation and private prayer.
St. Luke’s columbarium is located in the renovated baptistery off the chapel and consists of 240 niches for the internment of ashes of cremated remains. Each niche has a bronze name plate engraved with the name of the deceased and the date of birth and death. The purchase of niches and their use is for the members of St. Luke’s Church and their families.
For further information about the columbarium and the purchase of niches contact the church office at 483-6405.
