While the Empty Bowls Fundraiser isn’t until December 7th, we can still all come together to learn! Ron Nasca from the Chautauqua Area Potters and the Jamestown Empty Bowl Project will be teaching a class on hand building bowls for the fundraiser in December. During the class you will have time build 3 or more bowls and apply stencils to a few of them. You also have the option of labeling one and have potters track it through the firing process for you to keep and pick up at the fundraiser in December!
This class will be from 3 pm – 5 pm, on August 17th. Pre-Registration is required, as there are limited materials and space. Please register here. There will be a waitlist if the class is full, and you will be contacted in the order that registrations are received. Class will be in the basement/Undercroft of the St. Luke’s Church. It is FREE to attend, but donations are appreciated to help pay for materials!
