Ascension Day Evensong

As we come to the end of the programmatic year, we are wrapping up our Ron McEntire Choral Scholars Program with an Evensong on Ascension Day, May 9th at 7pm in the church.

Presented through the liturgy, the Evensong will be interspersing the sacred music repertoire the scholars have been working on during the term. The Prelude will be provided by Ron himself, pieces he recorded on the console of the organ (isn’t it amazing we can keep a part of him alive?). After the conclusion of the liturgy, the scholars will perform their secular rep, spanning from the Elizabethan Age to recent musical theatre. It is promising to be a beautiful night to feature these amazing singers, and honor Ron.
