Light the Night World AIDS Day
December 1 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

December 1st is an annual day of remembrance on the impact of HIV/AIDS in our community. We will be gathering as a community to remember those lost, reflect on the history of the road that lead us to where we are, and celebrate the hero’s that have helped us on the way, rejoice in the scientific advances that are allowing us to know undetectable is a reality.
We will gather on Monday, December 1st at 5:30pm in the Undercroft of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Our service will be followed by a procession to AIDS Memorial Park at East 3rd Street and Potters Alley. We will celebrate the new placement of the historical plaque from 1998 in the newly renovated park.
Red Ribbons and Red Glow Sticks will be provided at the event. Warm beverages will be provided during and after the event. This event is sponsored by Jamestown PRIDE, PFLAG Chautauqua, Jamestown Renaissance Corporation and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
