SUMMARY:St. Luke’s Women’s Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This overnight retreat will be led by he Rev. Canon Cathy Dempsey-Sims\, Canon for Pastoral Care and Congregational Support for the Diocese. The weekend’s theme is “The Hem of a Garment: Jesus and Women’s Self-Care.” Bring bedding: sleeping bag\, pillow (whatever makes you comfortable); comfy clothes and shoes appropriate for outside. Weather depending\, we will have a camp fire on Friday evening. There is sure to be snacks and delicious food too. The cost will be approximately $50\, but don’t let the cost keep you away – Scholarship and funding are available. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

SUMMARY:Kayak Mass
DESCRIPTION:The Kayak Mass is back!\n\nEach summer\, we celebrate the beauty of Chautauqua Lake by taking through our special Kayak Mass/Cano-eucharist services. Participants are invited to join the group of paddlers from 4 to 6 pm for a group excursion which will conclude with a service of Communion on the lake. The event is open to anyone\, regardless of religious affiliation.\n\nPaddlers should bring their own canoes and/or kayaks and life vests. There are also a limited number of rentals available through Evergreen Outfitters\, who will deliver the kayaks and equipment to the launch site. Anyone interested in renting should contact Evergreen in advance (716-763-2266).\n\nSince the weather determines where we will launch\, participants are asked to contact the church office (716-483-6405) the Friday before the service for information on the launch site and any changes in plans.\n\nKayak Mass 2023 dates:\nJune 25th\nJuly 16th\nAugust 13th
