SUMMARY:Election Day Morning Prayer
DESCRIPTION:During this divisive election season\, the country stands in need of community and a sense of collective charity for our neighbors – that is\, a generous and just spirit\, supported by prayer. With this in mind\, St. Luke’s will host three prayer services on Election Day (November 5.) \nWe will begin the day with a brief service of Morning Prayer at 8:30 AM in the Church\, with prayers for peace and justice for all.\nThe Episcopal Church does not endorse individual political candidates but rather encourages citizens to vote their conscience\, as well as participate in advocacy and civic engagement\, as a witness to Jesus’ way of love in today’s world. \nThe church will be open throughout the day as a space for prayer and quiet reflection.
