Worship

Where Tradition Meets Today

Worship is central to the rhythm of our life together, and we seek to make it a joyful expression of Anglican tradition. All of our regular weekly worship services include Holy Communion.  Children of all ages are welcome at all services. Young people are encouraged to take an active role as acolytes, readers and musicians.  Parishioners greet each other in a lively and friendly manner during the Exchange of the Peace, and Baptisms are usually celebrated as an entire congregation.  Although worship service times and styles are altered occasionally, outside of special services, we follow a regular weekly schedule of worship that for most parishioners revolves around weekends.

Welcome!

St. Luke’s is a vibrant and inclusive church, a congregation of prayer, celebration, and ministry, and a beautiful place to sit listen to our bells and give thanks to God. What we do here is both ancient and new – worship God with all the joy we can muster, follow Jesus as best as we can, seek justice and peace, and welcome all who come to our doors.

Blessing of the Bells

After a year of silence and months of work, the tower turrets have all been repaired, the electrical system is fixed, and new illuminated clock faces are installed. So…its time to celebrate! Join us for a festive evensong with special music and a blessing of the bells.
